FONTIER DROPS L.A.

The debut solo exhibition from Prospex Park: ‘Frontier Drops L.A.’ transported visitors to a reimagined version of the American frontier, offering a fresh perspective on familiar cowboy aesthetics.

What set FRONTIER DROPS apart is Prospex’s use of generative AI to challenge conventional norms of strength and masculinity on the frontier. Through diverse and queer subjects, he invites viewers to reconsider their perceptions of this storied era.

Prospex is also keen to bridge the perceived gap between the use of AI and artisanal crafts with a human touch. This exhibition includes garments inspired by the artworks, created specially for the exhibit in collaboration with a team of talented artists.
